The Plan

The challenge is to educate beneficiaries about the fiduciary contract.  The contract is designed to ensure that what members are working for will be there when they retire.

On a crowded planet such as ours, it matters where money goes and what it does.  Only beneficiaries have the power to require fiduciary stewards to steer their funds into ‘forever’ investments.

Capacity Finance’s primary aim, therefore, is to raise awareness among fiduciary beneficiaries about the peril facing their savings and their futures.

We accomplish this by facilitating deliberations and negotiations among the stakeholders.  These are spaces where the players in the system—pension members, other savers, fund professionals, regulators—can safely articulate their concerns and fears.

All of these are reasonable people carrying reasonable pain, produced by the same set of rules.  It is important that they all come to their own conclusions about prudent management before they can act.

When the lightbulb goes off, a fiduciary manager is bound to ask, “so what do I do with the money?”

We have a plan for that, also.
